A peeve of mine is sensationalism. Or simply put, people who celebrate mediocrity (As put so elegantly by Mr. Incredible in "The Incredibles"). So why call this page "Awesome*"?

Perhaps in the hopes that I can share things that I find truly inspiring and in so doing restore some dignity to the trending "cool" word.

I will attempt to do this while neither infatuated nor intoxicated, in order to stay true.

* Perhaps I should script this to automatically update "Awesome" with the appropriate word as it comes into fashion and popular use, ie. Gnarly, Nice, Spiff, Cool, Hot, Hip, Sick, Amazing, Wonderful and perhaps eventually, one day, Yes or simply "1"
