I love metaphors. Why do they exist? Do they tell us something about the world we live in? Do they perhaps hint at an underlying structure, perhaps purely in the way we perceive the world - or perhaps in the way the world is put together?
The universe and evertyhing in it is curiously self-similar. Consider this: The pattern of 5 - you have two legs, two arms, and a head. Thats 5 protrusions from your body. At the end of each of those, there are 5 more things: 5 toes, 5 fingers... 5 senses. But does it extend out further? Is your body not perhaps 5 protrusions at the end of something else? Perhaps Male/Female. And perhaps the metaphorical feet is the working class - joined at the groin. Carrying the metaphorical hands, joined at the heart, the intellectual class. All ruled by a cosmic head? Well, it certainly paints a picture :) I won't say it's pretty.
But let's not get religious. Let's just find a way to teach people morals, respect, tolerance, love.
And: Let's find a template which strikes a balance between abstract and agile!
